Wonderful location in the middle of the vineyard with a fantastic view. On top of that, the restaurant shines with a very large selection of Franconian wines, excellent cuisine and well-organized and friendly service.

Very nice waitress and good service. Fish was excellent, boiled beef very tasty. Roast wild boar a bit dry, but otherwise tasty.

Except for the beautiful location, very disappointing. Due to the good reviews, we were really looking forward to the food, but we were hugely disappointed. Despite having made a reservation, we had to wait over 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food, so we didn't have lunch until around 3 p.m. In addition, it was served at different times so that we each had to eat separately (5 people). Of course, especially on a Sunday, there can be a lot of work in the kitchen, but then it is the responsibility of the service department to consult with the guests. It's also a mystery to me why people don't at least make sure that the table eats together. So each of us had already finished eating when the other was served. Nor was they apologized for the long wait. That the table eats together and that people apologize if they wait a long time, according to m.A. the least of (good) service and coordination that you can ask for, especially since it is not a cheap snack. My glass was also empty for over an hour without anyone asking if I wanted to drink something, let alone whether everything was okay. To make matters worse, the food wasn't convincing either. The fish (Fischpfanne Burgfräulein) was fried in way too much fat, the vegetables were very oily, the potatoes were served very carelessly and the sauce served with it tasted like pure butter mixed with some instant powder - all around disappointing! Only the duo of game was convincing. A waiter who was not responsible for us before was then sent to pay ... all in all, we can say that we will no longer visit the Stollburg restaurant and cannot recommend it to others.

The view is priceless! The service was very attentive and friendly. Wine (Scheurebe), starter (pumpkin soup / garlic bread), main course (entrecote / three kinds of fish), dessert (apple fritters) were excellent throughout. Slightly more expensive, but absolutely justified in terms of value for money.

Great kitchen and a breathtaking view from the terrace. Reservation necessary. Uploading from the parking lot at the foot of the mountain makes you hungry.

Fantastic location, reservations are handy. Delicious food, friendly staff but very strange that they only accept a German payment card, fortunately we were able to solve it because the owner was friends with the hotel owner where we were staying. So if you go, bring a big wallet with cash! Definitely a must-visit place! ❤️

Well worth a visit because everything fits perfectly. August 2020 Everything just fits here. Great menu, the food is perfect, lovingly prepared and it tastes just amazing. The view is so beautiful and the restaurant is well-kept and harmoniously furnished. The service is perfect and the boss super friendly. It's worth a visit! It is best to reserve a table in advance.

Since 2019 with the new owner this place is worth a visit again. Delicious, very special dishes. Great atmosphere overlooking the winjards. Perfect for any occasion.

Excellent regional food and beverages. Beautiful view of the Handthal Valley and vineyards. Very polite and dedicated service. However, often full, so come without hurries and enjoy the view of the amazing valley. You definitely need to try the soups, the wild game meat and the wine!
